Today,
YGI Group is widely recognized as a leader in the manufacturing and distribution of fine jewelry products, but the story started many years and miles ealier.

Having immigrated from Israel to the United States in 1987, Haviv Kassab got an entry level job at a Fine Jewelry store on 165th street in Jamaica Avenue, Queens. Working tirelessly to make something of himeself in his new surroundings, he quickly understood the business and went on to manage the store before opening his very own in 1989. By 1995, Haviv had opened three succesful retails stores a few blocks apart all on Jamaica Avenue, Queens.

But he sought out to create something more, something greater, and in 1997 YGI Group was born.

Starting with a factory producing religious charms and bracelets, Haviv began distributing to his own stores as well as wholesalers in the tri-state area. With the success of the factory he went on to open our corporate office in New York City's Diamond District.

A lot has changed since then, but our goals and values remain the same.  
We aspire to be not so much of a vendor to our customers but rather a partner and we pride ourselves on our quality, pricing, visuals, and service.
We are honored to work with some of the world's best department stores, mass retailers, television networks, specialty stores, independent retailers and online companies. With an in house packaging, display, and design team, we are constantly working with our retail partners to create custom solutions to fit their wants and needs in the ever changing retail environment. Finally, we put great focus on information technology and we are constantly investing in our infrastructure to make the lives of our customers as seamless as possible. We take great pride in getting information to our customers in an expedited manner and with our constant drive for efficiency we will continue to grow and innovate in this sector.
